Retail Banking Manager – Cara Duerkop
Cara Duerkop began her banking career in 1999 when she served as a Community Bank teller prior to attending UW-La Crosse. In 2013, after teaching high school for nearly a decade, Cara returned to the Cameron community with her family and rejoined the Community Bank team as the compliance officer.
Cara has used her skills to facilitate annual bank training sessions along with adding internal audit and human resource to her role over the last several years. She is excited to join the customer service side of the bank as the Retail Banking Manger where she will oversee the personal banking and teller functions. Cara is excited to interact with customers again and get to know the people who make our local communities a great place to work and live!
Outside of work Cara serves as a board member for the Cameron Area Scholarship Foundation, Cameron Youth Softball program, Barron County DSI Services Inc. (a division of Catholic Charities), and a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Cara lives in Cameron with her husband and three kids. She loves spending time with family and friends boating, cooking, golfing and traveling.
“What I love most about Community Bank and working in a small town are the relationships we build with our customers and the personal touch service we provide. We know our customers by name and we do what it takes to help make their banking experience enjoyable.”
